Our Team

  • Melissa Miller

The effects of climate change have always been a concern of mine. Not knowing what I could do on a large scale I always made sure to stick to a reduce, reuse, and recycle model. I am thrilled to be leading the Town of Kinderhook’s Climate SMART Task Force and doing my part to enact change here at home.

  • Philip Bickerton

Our Town Climate Smart Committee, with the help of the Town Council, local and state organizations and businesses, is making strides to improve our environment. We will continue to make things happen that benefit the Town, the community at large and our precious environment. Let's all do our part!

  • Mark Leinung

Climate change is an existential threat to our very future. Climate smart communities are a critical tool to combat this threat; enabling local communities and private citizens to do their part to confront this problem. I am very proud to be part of the Town of Kinderhook’s Climate Smart Task Force.

  • Tara Donadio

Tara is the Assistant Director of Sustainability for the Capital District Regional Planning Commission. She attends our monthly meetings to assist us in our work by offering advice and support.

  • Christi Wright

I have been a resident of Kinderhook since 1987 and in that time I have seen changes in the climate in Kinderhook. It is not too late to change the direction of climate change. I believe we can make a difference in our small part of the world by what we do to reduce greenhouse gases, clean the water, protect trees and natural spaces while bringing our community together in an equitable ,just manner. We look forward to welcoming others to join us in this most important endeavor.

  • William "Billy" Darrow

I am happy to be a part of the Climate SMART Task Force. Working together and acting locally we can all make a difference, helping to secure a more resilient community and a healthier world.
